Full-time Senior Transportation Analyst

We are currently seeking a senior transportation analyst with experience in energy and greenhouse gas modeling, alternative fuels, freight transportation modeling, and/or related policy and planning analysis. Duties could include leading technical analysis, report writing, managing tasks and projects, and proposal development.

Potential project work assignments include:

  • Developing cost-effective strategies to reduce emissions from automobiles, trucks, locomotives, marine vessels, and other transportation sources
  • Analyzing fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles under different operating conditions
  • Assessing the energy and economic benefits of railroad system improvements
  • Analyzing life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions from alternative and renewable fuels
  • Writing guidance for government agencies on transportation and environmental topics

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of experience in the transportation planning or engineering fields
  • Master’s Degree in a transportation field (planning or engineering) or a related environmental science field
  • Experience with consulting to government agencies is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
